Between Raw Vegetables and Peace Terms shows an ensemble of artistic positions representative of the rock'n'roll du jour; the latter denominating a certain resistance towards established authorities that comes to artistic expression as an aesthetics of the abject and an anti-intellectual insistence on surface, which could be said to favor directness of action rather than so-called parliamentarianism.



Joscha Blankenburg (*1990, Berlin) lives and works in Hamburg and is currently a BFA student at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg.
Recent projects and exhibitions include equal goes it loose, news of the world, London 2014 / contribution to MEISE Nr. 8, Nr. 9 und Nr. 10, Verlag Heckler und Koch, Berlin 2011 / reading in the series "Sex Worker Literati", Bowery Poetry Club, New York City 2011.

Asana Fujikawa (*1981, Tokyo) lives and works in Hamburg. She is educated in Art and Teacher Training at Nagoya-Zokei university in Japan and a BFA student at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg.
Recent exhibitions include ROTER GINSENG ART GangBANG, Underdog Gallery, Hamburg 2014 / Mononale 2013, Vorwerkstift Galerie 21, Hamburg 2013 / Group show at Goldsmiths University of London 2013 / Mononale2012, Vorwerkstift Galerie 21, Hamburg 2012.

Mieke Müller (*1989, Itzehoe) lives and works in Hamburg and is currently a BFA student at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg.
Recent projects and exhibitions include How huge and strange my love is, Purpose Studio, Milano 2014 / "MAMA, ich suche nach Ausdruck. Ästhetik!" (w. edition and reading), Idol Bar, Hamburg 2014.

Octave Rimbert-Rivière (*1988, La Seyne sur Mer (FR)) lives and works in Lyon. He is MFA from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon.
Recent and upcoming exhibitions include Incontro, Réfectoire des Nonnes, Lyon 2013 / Standard and Poor’s, Le nouveau monde, Galerie Dohyang Lee, Paris 2013 / Les enfants du Sabbat XV, Le Creux de L'enfer, Thiers 2014 / Galerie Verney-Caron, Lyon 2014.

Timon Schmolling (*1989, Hamburg) lives and works in Hamburg and is currently a BFA student at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg.
